Space and Satellite Data Residency

In collaboration with multi-media artist John McGeoch and science technician Geoff Robbins, Julia was awarded a residency by the Centre for Design Informatics at Edinburgh University in April 2020. Working from their homes in Highland during lockdown, they are investigating sets of satellite data that show environmental change in the North of Scotland between 2015 and 2020. Their investigations are leading to creative interpretations of the data through movement, digital animation and sound.
